What To Blog About On Your Site To Make Money
Here’s what you ALWAYS must blog about to make money:
Focus.
It’s one word, and the ONLY word you should worry about.
Depending on the site you are creating, WHAT you talk about can vary - but the FOCUS of what you talk about should rarely vary.
You’ll see blogs out there that go on about their last dinner, or what they did last night, or their feelings at the moment…
…and you can too…
…but don’t expect to make much money!
The reason is that focused articles mean focused search listings, which mean focused visitors, which means a targeted market for whatever you’re selling.
Talk about online business, or Google Adsense, and visitors naturally expect to see this when they visit. So if they don’t, you’ll likely NOT keep them there for long. And since advertisers like a high click ratio, the general feeling will be your site is not for them.
Now there’s exceptions: I’ve read ’stream of consciousness’ blogs that led the author to a book deal, but I can count on the fingers of one hand the ones that did so. Compare that to the wide world of sites out there, and you can see the problem.
So try to resist going off topic when writing - because it WILL pay!
