How Can ‘Blogging With Passion’ Make You Money? (Part 1)
Many, many people will tell you about passion, and how important it is for blogging.
And although can write just about anything you want (or even don’t want) online, having a passion can make it easier.
- It can make you write when you don’t feel like it.
- It can make you promote when you’d rather not.
- It can keep you focused because you’re doing something you love.
That said, it’s possible to blog without passion. In the 90s, I was a columnist for a city newspaper, and I wrote about the Internet. And every deadline, I wrote another another article on a topic that I knew about - but wasn’t passionate about.
Don’t get me wrong - I like talking about the Internet. But I like talking about business and programming more (odd combination I know, but true). And that ‘little extra’ passion is why ‘The ActiveBlogging Report’ and this website are now in their third year.
Because you can write all kinds of things - but the little extra oomph can help you if it’s something you’re really interested in!
