How To Write More On Your WordPress Blog – WITHOUT Writing More

If the reader is waiting to hear the response, they are more inclined to go to the next page. And obviously, if the thought ends, there may be less inclination to ‘turn the page’ (but of course for your writing break where you feel it’s best).

I also like to get a good chunk of text on each page (this article is the exception). You want enough so the reader is engaged, and enough that the search engines have something to focus in. I try to stay around 300-600 words, roughly.

Splitting articles is a handy to make larger articles manageable. Big name sites have been doing this for years; and if they feel it adds to their sites, then maybe it’s worth considering!
