ActiveBlogging Affiliate Program: Easy Post Links
[UPDATE: the link system has been discontinued]
I use Amember.com for this membership site – but I’ve made a lot of custom changes, since my site is a WordPress blog, and I want it to do things MY way (I’m fussy that way).
So although it includes an affiliate program, it didn’t work with my blog posts – until now.
Now, members can point to individual blog posts with their affiliate link. The benefit is that they can link to individual blog posts, and still get the affiliate program to acknowledge them. Besides a more natural way of linking to blogs, it transparently provides their affiliate ID for the 50% commissions if visitors join.
The system is actually very simple:
- Log into the membership.
- Find the specific blog post on its page (not on the home page).
- At the bottom will be a custom URL for the post, including your link. Use it for your website, and then you reference the post AND get set for affiliate commissions if people join.
The link will work whether you continue as a member or not (although members are not paid if they leave), making it a handy way to link and profit.
So grab a post, comment on it via your blog – and encourage traffic for 50% payments!
