You have a product you’re ready to sell, like a report or program – how to sell it?

An easy way to do so is grab a PayPal account, grab a website, get a WordPress blog on it (and yes I do believe a WordPress blog is easiest), and add a product you can offer online (so no shipping costs).

Just add a sales link to a post and off you go. WordPress helps by managing pages, and helping to promote your product as you write about it …

I was reading a comment online about the difficulty of doing Cron jobs. Cron jobs currently make sure *NIX programs run on time. Execution of programs – a complicated topic for a simple thing like scheduling events.

The problem is Cron – it’s a powerful program, and a lot of times all you want to do is run something approximately every 15 minutes, once a day, etc.

As well, some web hosts prevent cron jobs.

This post is a first for me: I’m actually dictating it via Dragon Naturally Speaking (9.5) and having it put online using Microsoft Live Writer. Although I’m saving the detailed Live Writer review for the next issue (and the Dragon NS review was already done in December), I do find it a really slick combination for blogging quick & simple.
